M.Sc. Molecular Biotechnology, University of Torino, Italy
Research Interests
The research activity is mainly focused on the development of strategies for cells visualization by MRI (e.g. Hypotonic swelling, macropinocytosis, etc..) upon loading of Gd−complexes and on the investigation of the intracellular fate of these complexes. Furthermore, she was involved in the study of the Gd−retention and accumulation in the body upon multiple administrations of clinically approved Gd−chelates. Finally, she is interested in the Relaxometric characterization of small molecules, supramolecular adducts and tissues and in the development of FFC-NMRD based methods for the the early diagnosis of diseases (e.g. breast cancer) .
